Writing guides
- 1Agree: argue why the Ansar (رضي الله عنهم), who welcomed and supported the early Muslim community in Madinah, were essential to Islam's survival and growth.
- 2Further agree: use Qur'an 9:117 to show that Allah specifically praises the Muhajireen (رضي الله عنهم) and Ansar for their faithfulness 'in the hour of difficulty', showing divine recognition of their unique role.
- 3Disagree: consider whether the Khulafa al-Rashidun, particularly Abu Bakr (رضي الله عنه)'s leadership after the Prophet's death or Umar's expansion, were more important for establishing Islam as a world religion.
